SINGING something as well known as Handel’s Messiah for the first time is an experience that most people will remember for ever.

At Thame Choral Society’s Golden Anniversary performance last Saturday night in front of a packed St Mary’s Church, a children’s choir faced exactly that challenge and it was a resounding success.

Called TCC2, the youngsters all did well, including newest and youngest member Josh Driscoll-Morris, aged seven, joined in all the choir solos and choruses with great confidence supported by the older TCC2 members.

TCC2’s next public performance will be at Thame Chamber Choir’s Christmas Cracker performance on Saturday December 17, 7.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Thame. New members are always welcome, email or call 01844 292088.
