A new production of One Man, Two Guvnors is coming to the Waterside Theatre during August.
If you saw the original stage show, written for and starring James Corden, who won a Tony Award for best actor in the role on Broadway, you may be reluctant to see a different cast.
Corden played to sell out houses when he gave superb performances to his enthusiastic home crowd at the Waterside a couple of years ago.
But former Eastenders star Emma Barton, who is on tour with the show as Dolly, says it’s worth revisiting.
She told the Herald: “If people saw it before and loved it, they’ll want to come back and see it again, it’s so brilliantly written.”
The show will be at the Waterside from Monday August 11 until Saturday 16. Tickets from £10.
