AN A to Z done musically is going to be performed at St Nicholas, Cuddington.
On Friday the September 16, the popular Manor House String Quartet will be performing a journey from A to Z with each letter representing either a piece, composer or style of music.
As usual with the quartets’ themed concerts, all the pieces will be well known and the programme includes music such as Tchaikovsky’s Waltz from Swan Lake, The Can Can by Offenbach and The Swan by Saint Saens.
The group have a large following throughout Buckinghamshire and over Christmas their innovative album of Christmas Carols I Saw Three Ships was performed regularly on Classic FM, staying consistently high in the classical download chart throughout the Christmas period.
Tickets are £10 or £8 for concessions and are available from Myles and Caroline Saker on 01844 291825 – or on the door if they are not sold out beforehand.
20 per cent of money raised by the concert will go towards the upkeep and maintenance of this historic, rural church.
