There is plenty to keep children happy and entertained throughout the Vale during the school Easter holidays.
Colonel Custard is probably the most popular children’s entertainer in the Vale and has delighted families with his impressive magical routines for decades, writes Heather Jan Brunt .
So a trip into town that day would be well worthwhile, and you may want to organise your shopping around the specialshowtimes of 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
Always popular with parents and children alike, in between shows the cheery Colonel will be making balloon animals.
In February Colonel Custard received the British Children’s Entertainer, National Champion award, at the annual three-day Magic Convention in Blackpool.
He said at the time: “It’s such a big thing for me, and an honour.”
In addition to entertaining children Colonel Custard also performs for adults under his real name, Paul Megram, with incredible close-up magic artistry at parties, weddings and corporate events, and he regularly performs at top UK venues and internationally.
So take this unique opportunity to enjoy his skills free of charge.
Colonel Custard is presented by Aylesbury Town Centre Partnership, which provide a free children’s event every Thursday of the school holidays (except public holidays).
