X-Stream test on the cards at Hardwick
The Hardwick race consists of four river crossings
Bearbrook Running Club and Whitchurch Cricket Club will host the 20th edition of the Hardwick X-Stream cross country race on Sunday.
More than 300 runners are expected to do battle in one of the toughest and most prestigious in the off road calendar.
The six-mile course is run in the confines of Manor House Farm in Hardwick Village and competitors must overcome four river crossings, run across ploughed fields, grassland and along muddy farm tracks to reach the finish line.
There may be a limited number of places left and anyone wanting to take part should arrive at Hardwick Village Hall from 8.30am.
Entrants must be over 15 and it costs £12/£14 to race.
