Thame Town maintained their 15-point lead at the top of Cherwell League Division One after another emphatic display against in-form Twyford.
Coming into this game, Twyford had won three on the bounce and they elected to bat on a flat track. However, superb bowling from veteran Sam Lachlan (3-30) and Hassam Mushtaq (4-21) saw Twyford dismissed for a mere 100.
In reply, Thame got off to a flyer, scoring 44 off the first four overs, after which captain Mike Higgs (55no) saw Thame home in 15 overs for the loss of just one wicket.
With six games to go in the league, Thame travel to local side Tiddington this Saturday.
Thame IIs also picked up 25 points following a crushing defeat of Twyford IIs.
Twyford were put into bat on a green wicket and never looked like building a big score, with Evans (1-21) and Penny (2-57) taking early wickets before Jeffcock picked up career-best figures of 5-29 to rip through the middle-order and bowl them all out for 127.
In reply, Thame reached 38 before their only wicket fell (Jeffcock for 23) as Dan Patey (53no) steered Thame to the target with Jinman (39no).
Thame IIs face table-topping East Oxford at Church Meadow this weekend.
Elsewhere, Thame IIIs suffered a 58-run defeat at the hands of Twyford IIIs.
Having managed to restrict Twyford to 199-9 off 44 overs, with two wickets each from Jamie Wiles, Kedar Barde and Graham Earwicker, Thame looked on course for victory when 60-0 in reply but once Liam Earwicker (42) and Joe Phippen (28) had gone, the innings fizzled out to 141 all out.
Thame Cricket Club are now gearing up for their Open Day, sponsored by Waitrose, on Sunday, August 9. It will start at 11am and features a six-a-side tournament, free coaching for juniors (2-4pm) and a barbecue from midday.
