Racing without brakes returned to Claydon House at the weekend as the National Hovercraft Racing Championships came to town.
Set in the grounds of Claydon House, the popular course features a testing mix of fast straights and technical sections making it a real challenge for racers who reach speeds of up to 100mph, all with no brakes.
Last season the Claydon round of the Championships had to be rescheduled due to bad weather. But there was no such trouble this year as the National Trust setting was bathed in sunshine for what was round four.
