The lady captain and vice skipper at Weston Turville Golf Club have already achieved a lot of success in their short time in office.

The pair won the Coronation Foursomes with 38 points back in March. And this week Sheelagh Culverhouse and Jean Garrett found that their score was good enough to qualify for the area final which will be held at Wellingborough Golf Club on the 16th August, and if they are successful they will play in the final at the famous St Andrews Links in September.

The Turville Ladies have also started well in their Bucks scratch matches in 2013. The Silver Scratch team brilliantly organised by Debbie Retallick won their latest match against strong opposition Lambourne Golf Club, whilst the bronze scratch team led by Pam Pinney defeated Wavendon. Both teams are well positioned for honours in their respective leagues.

In the Chiltern Golf League the Turville ladies are also emulating their 2012 successes with a recent win against Aylesbury Vale, and with three wins in four matches they are in a great position for another successful season proving again the strength in depth at the golf club.
