With only one week to go to the position round of the Monday Handicap Doubles League, leaders Supreme Legacy saw their lead cut to just 3.5 points from Alpha.

A gap of 29 points then separates those two from Fallen Apart, who have moved ahead of The Goodfellows by just one point with The Dohnuts and A.Ties not far behind.

Paul Brooks was the top performer this week rolling a 670 series in The A.Ties’ close victory over The Goodfellows who had Tony Caputa rolling the second best series of the week with 634. Divided by Time produced the best team game of the season in their convincing win over Little & Large with Pamela Kennedy hitting a scratch game of 253 and with partner Louie Cooper also over 200 they totalled 559 with handicap, beating the previous best by 23 pins. Fallen Apart beat the league leaders 11-9 inspired by Neil Craske who had one of his better performances with a 613 series. For Supreme Legacy Michael Kent had a 624 series. Another close match saw Splits Happen creep home 12-8 against The Dohnuts thanks to a season’s bestfrom Jackie Skinner. In the final match Alpha surprisingly dropped 3.5 points to Rank Outsiders.
