THIS weekend see the restart of the hockey action after the winter break and Thame Hockey Club is hoping the second half of the season will prove as successful as the first.
At the halfway-point in the year Thame has three of its four adult teams at the top of their leagues.
The ladies’ firsts have out-shone their male counterparts as they remain with a 100 per cent winning record and are currently nine points clear with a staggering goal difference of 110.
The men’s firsts are top by five points with just one defeat to their name and the men’s seconds are top of their with a crunch match against second-place Banbury this Saturday.
The ladies’ seconds are comfortable in mid table in what is a development year for a young side.
Thame Hockey Club train at Thame Leisure Centre on Wednesdays from 8.45pm.
