A Princes Risborough school’s burgeoning reputation for sporting achievement spread from football to cross country as they enjoyed an unbeaten team performance at the ISA Regional Cross Country Championships.

St Teresa’s team of 24 was made up of pupils from Year 3 through to Year 6 at Rushmoor School where they stormed to four team victories in four competitions. Grace Holt (second), Sophie Hutchinson (fourth) and Phoebe Good (ninth) together with Alice Garmon-Jones, Kiera Foster and Liv Crowley set the ball rolling with an U10 girls team victory before Nicholas Cay (first) and William Conroy (third) both took to the podium in the U10 Boys.

Alec Eaton, Patrick Bull, Ellison Socrates, Thomas Young and Matthew Tilbury closely followed behind to claim St Teresas’ second team victory of the day. Their junior triumphs were enhanced by the U12 girls and a hard fought victory for the under 12 Boys. Kitty Conroy, Hatty Bell, Lucy Rose, Pia Crowley, Millie Lowrie and Matilda Cox stole the show with a breathtaking performance in the under 12 Girls race, with all six girls qualifying for the ISA National Championships in March.
