CHINNOR’S first team fell to their heaviest defeat of the season as they lost 37-13 to Bournemouth.
It means that they are now in fifth place in the league and have fallen nine points off the runaway group at the top, which includes Bournemouth, Hartpury College and Old Patesians.
In the match, Chinnor were restricted to just a single Edd Vickers try and had to rely on James Cathcart for the rest of the points.
Cathcart kicked the conversion from the try and was successful with two further penalty attempts.
There was better results for the second and third teams, with both sides recording victories.
The seconds travelled to Blackheath Brigands and recorded a close 18-15 point victory while the thirds beat Amersham & Chiltern 20-12.
But the fourth team were not so lucky as they narrowly lost 13-10 at home to Maidenhead.
Next up for the Chinnor firsts is a home tie against seventh placed Bridgwater & Albion on Saturday.
