THAME got eight shots in the final end to give them a narrow win over Bicester in the mixed triples.

Top rink honours went to Jill Brooks, Paul Heaffey and skip John Timms who won by 24 shots to 10.

Watlington 94 Thame 80

Thame won two of the five rinks but it was not enough to avoid defeat against Waltington.

Top rink honours went to John Hurley, Barbara Waters, George Andrews and skip John Timms.

Watlington Ladies 79 Thame Ladies 50

A second half surge from Watlington proved too much for Thame as they ran out convincing winners.

Thame managed to win four of the five rinks to overcome Cheddington 99-69.

Vic Webb, Trevor Copley and skip Sandy Seckington won top rink honours.

Stoke Poges 104 Thame 70

The unfamiliar green caused a few problems for Thame and despite winning on two rinks, the home team triumphed by an excellent 104 shots to 70. Judy Copley, Caspar DuPreez and skip Andy Walker won top honours.
