PUPILS at Lord Williams’s School have made it through to the quarter-finals of a national rugby competition.

The First IX beat Richard Huish School from Somerset 5-3 in the Daily Mail Vase and will face a trip to either Norwich or Kent.

George Hope got the decisive try and it proved to be enough after great work from the forwards restricted the chances of the Somerset team.

Central to the win were Josh Coles, Sam Abbott and Dom Bradbrook-Taylor who put in fine displays.
