Hot shot club wins Crendon Fours

Long Crendon hosted their annual Fours competition this week, attracting 10 clubs from Bucks, Oxon and the Home Counties.

Each club fielded teams of four players and teams were divided into two leagues, the winner of each league playing off for the trophy.

The final play-off was between Waddesdon and Broomwade with the latter crowned eventual winners. The Broomwade number one team also sored a Hot Shot whereby they scored maximum points on one end.

Their score will be verified and the club will receive a special award.

The playoff for third place was between Oxford and Ladygate (Ruislip) with Oxford the evetual winners.
