Healthy margins helps bowlers see off Marlow

Marlow bowlers visited Thame for the return game of two fixtures and were well beaten.

Thame only won two of the five rinks but by healthy margins and took the game 110-82. Top rink honours went to Sharon Gardner,Barbara Hurley, Simon Bell and Skipper Mel Dale who won 24-7.

The midweek games against Princes Risborough were a home from home game with the fast surface suiting the Thame bowlers who won on five of the six rinks of Triples to amass 114 shots to 88 in their favour.

After nine ends it was all level, then three rinks started to pull away with the other two winning by one shot and three shots respectively.
