Aylesbury’s Pegasus Gym came away from their latest meet with six golds and two silvers as they gear up for the next big Storm fight night at The Waterside Theatre.

Pegasus Gym owner and kickboxing champ Steven Cook is putting on Storm 5 ‘ELMINATION’ in October at The Waterside and had his team in training with some competitive fighting in Suffolk recently.

Ten year old Connor Adams won his bout against a more experience home fighter. Connor beat him and didn’t seem to need to get out of first gear to do it.

Brandon Cook, 13, beat an opponent he has previously lost to twice with a great performance while debutant Luke Siswick won an almost identical match in age, height and weight.

Sid Siswick won his third fight for Pegasus in what was a battle of stamina where he dug deep for the win.

Sixteen year old Jamie Bartoszek won what was the fight of the day.

Jamie showed skills well above his grade to take down his opponent.

Another 16 year old, Sam Fitzgerald, also won his fight and completely outclassed his more experienced opponent to receive recognition from the officials. Unfortunately Will Cass and Robert Heath both lost but put in a good performances.

Owner Cook said: “I would like to thank Martin Fitzgerald our white collar boxing coach for helping out on the day in the corner with me and the top class team of instructors that prepared our team for this tournament including pro boxer Nathan graham and world champ Gregg Oliver.”
