An array of darts stars which could include World Cup winner Adrian Lewis will be taking to an oche near you next month.

Exhibition organiser Maria Butler is hosting a Pro Darts event at the TA headquarters in Aylesbury followed by her now annual Tesco Extra Charity Shield match on March 23 and 24.

Top names from the world of darts including Colin Osborne, Jamie Caven and Russ Bray will be entertaining fans on the Saturday before the Charity Shield match which this year is between an Aylesbury Old Boys XI and a team made up of darts players on the Sunday.

Butler hopes two-time world champion Lewis, who won the World Cup alongside the legendary Phil Taylor on Sunday night – beating Belgium in the final – will be available to attend and present the trophies at the football match.

Also attending the Pro Darts exhibition will be PDC players Richie Howson and Prakash Jiwa who will be looking to raise their profiles in the sport.

John Fowler MC will be addressing the fans in the interval while local illusionist Sylar will be there to wow the crowds on what promises to be an action-packed weekend. Butler said the event has already attracted a lot of attention and tickets, which are £25 for VIP and £15 standard, were selling out fast.

“I still have a few tickets left for the darts although people will have to be quick! Entry to the football is free and it promises to be a really great weekend,” Butler said.
