After seven weeks of the touch tournament at Aylesbury Rugby Club, the victorious Dragons team ended unbeaten after 21 games.

They were pressed hard once or twice but no other team was able to take them down. Team MacIntyre managed to climb off the bottom of the table for the first time this year while CSP were runners up yet again, maybe next year will see them victorious.

The club, which has been busy preparing a bid to be a team base for the Rugby World Cup 2015 (see story right), then hosted the annual handicapped knockout festival followed by a barbecue.

The handicap is based on the team’s league results and so far the festival winners have come from the teams lower down the table.

Final standings: 1 Dragons 2 CSP 3 Happy Slappers 4 Vets and sons 5 Ali’s Army 6 2 Pints
7 MacIntyre 8 Touch with Vengeance
