Paralympic gold medallist Pamela Relph has been chosen as The Bucks Herald’s London 2012 Sports Personality award winner.

Given that it was a once-in-a-lifetime home Olympic and Paralympic year, Herald Sport set aside four months of its regular award to be given to one of our 11 local Olympic and Paralympic athletes involved in London. After winning a magnificent adaptive rowing gold at Dorney Lake, Weston Turville woman Pamela was the obvious choice to take the title and wins a special three-month free membership at award sponsors Nuffield Gym in Fairford Leys, a free sports massage and a certificate.
