Striker Ellen White scored as England started life after Hope Powell with a 6-0 World Cup qualifying win over Belarus on Saturday.
In the first game since longserving manager Hope Powell’s sacking, England dominated opponents ranked 27 places below them.
Leading 1-0, the Lionesses were comfortable when former Grange pupil White doubled their advantage on 13 minutes.
The Fairford Leys woman capped a neat move, controlling Jordan Nobbs’ lay-off before finding the bottom corner of the goal. The Arsenal forward had missed from close range moments before but did not let it faze her as she slotted home to send her side on their way to an easy win.
