The side continues in cup action on Saturday, with an FA Cup clash against Southern League Premier side Brackley Town at the ASM Stadium.
The match will kick off at 3pm.
Making their bow at the weekend was the club’s under 18s, who were knocked out of the FA Cup to local rivals Oxford City, but only after a tremendous battling performance.
Against a City side who mostly train every day at the club’s Academy, United’s youngsters came under early pressure and were indebted to keeper Jack Hopwood for some outstanding saves in the early exchanges.
With influential skipper Ed Goggs adding experience United, weathered the storm and grew into the game.
However two set pieces eventually gave City the win. First a corner was smashed against the bar and the rebound bundled home then a harsh penalty gave City a 2-0 win.
A first loss but no shame in defeat and a great game for the spectators to enjoy.
