AYLESBURY footballer Robert Hall could be in line to make his West Ham debut after being recalled from his successful loan spell at Oxford United.
The former Grange School pupil could go straight into the first team squad for the match against Bristol City on Tuesday evening.
The 17-year-old Hall has been a revelation at his temporary club with six goals in 10 games.
Oxford were interested in extending his stay further but due to injury concerns and Hall’s sparkling form, the Championship side have asked for the striker to return to East London.
Oxford chairman Kelvin Thomas said that although it is disappointing to see Hall depart they always knew the laon agreement would not go on for ever.
He said: “The timing is tough as we had begun discussions on extending his loan for a longer period and there would have been no issue with this without West Ham’s injury problems.
“The positive is that it is great for Robbie. He has come here, played well, scored goals and had that little bit of experience.
“West Ham are very happy with the way he has been looked after and the way he has played and have taken him back to be involved with the first team squad.”
There is every chance Hall could line up alongside fellow Aylesbury star Sam Baldock for the Hammers.
