The message from Craig Faulconbridge was simple ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Barton Rovers, ‘keep up the good work’.
After excellent back-to-back wins over bitter rivals Aylesbury United and then Thatcham in the FA Cup on Saturday, FC travel to Bedfordshire tonight (Tuesday, 7.45pm).
Barton have had an excellent start to the season and currently sit second behind Daventry Town after recording three wins and a draw from their opening four games having beaten Leighton, Kettering and Beaconsfield scoring ten and conceding just one.
FC will have to keep close tabs on striker Nathanial Peacock who tops the scoring charts in the division with five goals so far.
And FC boss Faulconbridge encouraged his players to show the same application they have in recent big games to get a positive result.
“The players have shown me such a good attitude towards team ethic,” Faulconbridge added.
“We seriously only take one game at a time and Tuesday night will be our next cup final.
“It is our next big one and we have to approach every single game how we have the Aylesbury United and Thatcham matches.
“With that level of desire and commitment we won’t be beaten and if we are it will be by a better team than us, which I don’t believe these teams are.”
The Moles expect to have a full squad to choose from bar Max Farrelly (work) and Kwasi Frempong (injured).
SQUAD: Rhys Marshall, Derek Feyi, Lamar Simpson, Ben Stevens, Lee Grant, Matt Hall, Nick O’Donovan, Anthony Davitt, Sonny French, David Haule, Ollie Hogg, Steve Lindsey, Gareth Price, Jerome Federico, Jack Thomson, Brian Haule and Jonathan Hippolyte.
