Aylesbury United extended their winning streak to seven as they edged a 4-3 thriller with Hadley on Wednesday night.
The Ducks have not tasted defeat since November and two minutes in they got the best of starts as Jack Wood headed in.
It made up for the pain of Stacey Field missing a penalty in just the opening minute, writes the Ducks’ official website.
Aylesbury and Hadley are no strangers to high-scoring encounters after serving up a 6-4 thriller earlier in the season but at half-time just Wood’s strike separated the sides.
Hadley came out rejuvenated and Selmet Karagozlu equalised after he burst into the area and thumped home.
Field made up for his earlier miss with a stunning strike to regain the lead.
Immediately Hadley struck back Ivan Machado finished off a fine move.
The equaliser galvanised United though and Wood buried his second header while Field sealed his brace with an easy tap in.
But there was still time for a nervy finish as Ben Luck got a consolation for the visitors.
United travel to Hanwell Town on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
