At long last after many years of hard work and effort, Risborough Rangers have finally been able to install floodlights at their ground.

With the help of grants and loans from the FA, the local council, junior section of Risborough Rangers and committee, players and supporters of the senior section the club can now achieve its “G Grade” and it enables them to progress our ambition of higher level football within the non-league pyramid, with the ultimate aim of Football League.

The club is currently playing at Level 6 and will be competing in the South Midlands League Division One this season and hope to keep moving forward.

Athletic are looking for a curtain raiser against a Football League club to officially open the new addition to their facilities which should take place by the end of September. Rangers first team are looking for friendly matches between now and Saturday August 10. Anyone interested should contact Bob Rayner, the first team manager, on 07909 801917.
