A FREESTYLE footballer who is aiming to be the best in the world, was showcasing his vast array of skills in Aylesbury on Friday.
Chris Draper, who hails from Burnley, started from humble beginnings doing kick-ups with friends as a child and is now set to perform as far afield as Miami in front of thousands of football fans.
The 19-year-old Burnley fanatic was in Aylesbury in a bid to raise his profile and performed a variety of tricks for passers-by in Market Square.
And he was delighted with the reception he got.
“It went really well, the routine was well taken to, people were filming and taking pictures,” he said.
“I got to do my training and now people down south have seen a little bit of what I can do.”
Draper now has a number of events lined up including performing in Miami at a Miami Strikers match and then Atlanta Silverbacks vs Tampa Bay Rowdies derby.
Speaking about his hopes for the future and his routine, the public relations student said: “If it’s possible to make a career out of it and bring a full income in then I’d love to.
“Coming to Aylesbury was a brilliaint experience and hopefully I’ll come back and do a proper planned event.
“I like to mix up my routine every time but the skills are only hard when you are first learning them.”
