Former Ducks keeper Keith Baker passed away after a 14-month battle with cancer last week aged 57.
Keith served the club with distinction for seven years between 1980-81 and 1986-87, playing 380 times. He passed away with his wife and daughters by his side last week.
In a statement on its official website the club said: “It is with great sadness we report that former Ducks keeper Keith Baker passed away after a 14-month battle with cancer of the oesophagus. Naturally we extend our sincere condolences to his family.”
Keith is second on United’s all-time list of appearances.
A minute’s silence in honour of the former player was scheduled to be held before Saturday’s game against Chalfont St Peter which had to be postponed due to the weather.
