With tales of blood, sweat and tears former footballers from the Aylesbury District reunited for a trip down memory lane at the weekend.
Organiser Brian Rayner said: “It went down very well. We’ve been going 12 years now.”
More than 80 people attended the reunion with some coming from as far afield as America and Canada.
Mr Rayner continued: “It’s quite good really, some have been coming since year one.
“As soon as they walk through the door, they have only got a few paces and they recognise somebody they know.
“A lot of them say they didn’t know it was like this.
“Some of the games years ago used to be like wars and then you have a drink together afterwards.”
The evening included old photos for the ex-players to look through, a buffet and music.
