Aylesbury FC will be looking to turn around a run of three straight defeats when they entertain Woodford United on Tuesday night, with the game set to go ahead unless the temperature dramatically drops before the 7.45pm kick-off.
Whipping boys Woodford currently lie rock bottom of the Evo Stik Southern League Division One Central with no points at all this season.
Craig Faulconbridge’s side go into the game trying to find some form as they face a huge backlog of fixtures in a short space of time before the end of the season.
The club is also eager to remind fans that prices have been reduced for the rest of the season. Tickets for the game are priced at £5 for adults, £3 for concessions (OAPs/children above 16 but in Education) and under 16s go free.
Meanwhile, Aylesbury United are bidding to make it to their second cup final of the season when they take on their main rivals for second spot in the Spartan South Midlands Premier League, Oxhey Jets, in the Premier Cup on Tuesday night.
The match is being held at Oxhey’s Boundary Stadium with a 7.30pm kick-off.
The Ducks are currently on an 18-game unbeaten run stretching back to November.
