FA week for Thame as cup comes to the ASM Stadium for the first time

Thame United will be playing their first FA Cup game at the ASM Stadium on Tuesday night when Newport Pagnell are in town following Saturday’s 1-1 draw.

The winners of this preliminary round replay will have the prospect of a mouth-watering tie against Southern League Premier side Brackley Town in the first qualifying round. The match kicks off at 7.30pm.

In a similar vein United’s under 18 youth team get their season underway on Thursday at the ASM in a FA Youth Cup match against local rivals Oxford City. The match kicks off at 7.30pm. Admission is £2.50 Adults and £1 for concessions.

The FA week is completed on Saturday when Thame United host their first FA Vase match against Staines Lammas at the ASM Stadium.

Thame are hoping for a good run in this year’s tournament and should they win this game they have another home tie against Hanwell Town in the next round. Kick-off is at 3pm.
