Ellen White scored to help Arsenal Ladies into the last 16 of the Womens Champions League after an emphatic 18-2 aggregate win over Kazakh side Kairat this afternoon (Thursday).
The former Grange School pupil netted the Gunners Ladies’ second goal of a comfortable 11-1 second leg win on Thursday after 25 minutes.
The England forward picked up the ball on the edge of the area and fired an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner.
The 11-1 victory followed an easy 7-1 first-leg win so the overall result was never in doubt even before a ball was kicked on a sunny afternoon in Borehamwood.
White, who lives in Fairford Leys, had a hand in a number of the other goals.
She and her teammates will now face Glasgow City or Standard Liege in the next round.
