Aylesbury United take on former boss Martin Stone's Burnham in the quarter-final of the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup

Aylesbury United have been drawn at home to Burnham on Wednesday November 13 in the quarter-final of the Berks and Bucks Senior Cup.

There they will meet ex-manager Martin Stone, whose brief tenure with the Ducks ended on the eve of the 2009/10 season. Stone guided the Blues to the Division One Central Championship last season.

Also at Burnham is Byron Walton, who managed United for 13 games following Stone’s departure before being succeeded in the post by current incumbent and immensely popular boss Tony Joyce.

Meanwhile, due to rearranged cup games, the club’s proposed match against Daventry Town next Wednesday night has been postponed. Daventry’s FA Cup tie at the weekend was called off due to the rain, meaning their Red Insure Cup game scheduled for this week has been moved back by a week.

A new date for United vs Daventry is yet to be announced.
