Aylesbury’s Oxford United defender Scott Davies has signed a new one-year contract with the League Two club.
The 25-year-old former Aylesbury Grammar School pupil joined the U’s on a free transfer from Crawley in March and has made 13 appearances so far.
He began his career as a trainee at Reading, but spent time on loan at Aldershot before an ill-fated move to Crawley in July 2011.
After limited playing time in recent seasons, Davies, son of Aylesbury United legend Kevin ‘Dabba’ Davies, is just happy to have found a new place to call home.
“Delighted to have signed a one year contract, hoping for a successful season!” Davies posted on Twitter on Friday.
