This meeting is in support of the motion for the council to look deeper into United’s return to Aylesbury as well as the general need for the town to have a sporting facility/arena.

The Ducks have urged as many people and fans as possible to attend the meeting, which gets under way at 6.30pm at the council offices in Gatehouse.

In an article about the meeting on the club’s official website the club said: “In absence of a midweek fixture please attend and show your support. Colours and vocal support essential!”

In other Ducks news, the postponed Challenge Trophy match between United and Spartan South Midlands Premier rivals Oxhey Jets has been rearranged.

The tie will now take place a week later than originally planned, next Wednesday October 24 (7.45pm kick-off).
