Steve Bateman has brought in yet another former Slough Town player as Stuart Swift joined the Moles at the weekend.
Goalscoring midfielder Swift, who is described as a ‘set piece specialist’ by the FC website, lists Slough Town, Burnham, Uxbridge, Beaconsfield SYCOB and Eton Wick among his former clubs.
Swift played 122 times for Slough where he played under Bateman. There wideman Swift was frequently moved inside to occupy a central midfield role to good effect, and chipped in with nine goals in the 2010/11 season to help Slough make the play-offs for a second consecutive season.
And the midfielder has pedigree having previously helped Beaconsfield SYCOB to the play-offs in the South and West League and winning the Player’s Player of the Year award there after scoring 24 goals and helping the Rams become Spartan South Midlands League Champions.
