AYLESBURY-born Matt Phillips helped book his side a place in ‘the most valuable match in world football’ on Wednesday night.

Phillips, who grew up in Bedgrove, scored for Blackpool in a dramatic 2-2 draw with Birmingham, to set up a showdown with West Ham for a place in the Premier League.

He may find himself going head to head with two other stars in the form of Sam Baldock, pictured, and Rob Hall.

The play-off final will be held at Wembley on May 19.
