Aylesbury FC entertain Conference South Maidenhead United in their last ‘official’ pre-season friendly while United travel to Biggleswade Town on Tuesday night.
Aylesbury FC entertain Maidenhead at Haywood Way from 7.45pm where manager Craig Faulconbridge will have a full strength squad to choose from.
Ronayne Marsh-Brown should make an appearance after his ankle injury and everyone in the FC squad is now back from holidays.
Elsewhere, Aylesbury United take on Biggleswade Town in their penultimate pre-season game of 2013/14. Having only played lower level opposition so far, the trip to the Carlsberg Stadium to face the Calor League Premier Division side will be a massive step up for the Ducks.
Finishing fourth in Division One Central last season, Biggleswade beat Godalming Town and Rugby Town in the playoffs to secure their promotion.
Their pre-season results, against a varying range of opponents, have been mixed, with their most recent outing a 3-3 home draw with Port Talbot Town. They have also already played a competitive fixture - losing out on penalties after a 1-1 Beds Premier Cup draw with a young Luton Town team.
Aylesbury have only visited the Carlsberg Stadium once before, on the opening day of the ill-fated 2009/10 season. The Ducks were already 3-0 down before Ashleigh James’s late debut goal meant a final score of 3-1 to Biggleswade in what was Byron Walton’s first game in charge.
Admission prices for Tuesday’s match are £5 for adults, with all accompanied children under-16 FREE. Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
