Aylesbury FC manager Steve Bateman says Uxbridge’s pitch will suit the Moles down to the ground as they look to extend their four-game unbeaten run today (Saturday).
FC travel to Uxbridge off the back of a 1-1 draw against AFC Hayes in midweek, a game they should have won.
Moles boss Bateman said it felt ‘strange to be playing at home’ after what was only their second match at Haywood Way since December 14 last year.
He is confident of getting back to winning ways at Uxbridge but concedes it won’t be easy.
Bateman said: “Uxbridge will be a tricky game because they are one of the form sides in the league at the moment.
“The playing surface at their ground is nice, if a bit slopey, so hopefully it will suit us better.”
