The Moles and the Ducks are back in action as the pre-season schedule kicks into gear on Saturday afternoon.

FC boss Craig Faulconbridge has been putting his players through their paces this week ahead of their second game of pre-season, against Oxford City.

Centre Back Julian Smith has been unavailable this week due to an injury and star man Sonny French will not be joining up with the squad until September as he is out of the country.

City visit FC’s Haywood Way base for a 3pm kick-off.

The club also confirmed it is on the verge of announcing more new signings in the coming days.

Meanwhile FC’s rivals Aylesbury United, who they will face competitively in the Southern League for the first time this season, are also in pre-season action on Saturday away to AFC Kempston Rovers (3pm kick-off).

Tony Joyce’s men have been boosted by a number of last season’s promotion and cup winning squad signing on for 2013/14 including top scorer Stacey Field.
