Aylesbury United managed to salvage a draw despite having Lee Grace sent off against Potters Bar Town at the weekend.

Tony Joyce’s side started slowly but grew into the game only for Grace to be sent off for a second yellow card on the stroke of half-time.

The Ducks remained positive, though, and continued to go for the win after the break, Joyce leaving two strikers up front.

United had their work cut out to stay in the game but in fact it was the hosts who ended the stronger as they hit their opponents on the break and had chances to nick a late win.

In the end, though, both teams had to settle for a share of the spoils but midtable United emerging with more credit for their efforts.
