Dinton face the unknown as they bid to make the quarter-finals of the National Village Knockout Cup when they entertain Middleton today (Sunday).
The Hermits take on the West Sussex side for the first time in their history after they beat the Beds and Herts winners in the previous round.
The club’s skipper for the cup, Tim Brooker, said: “Having never played Middleton we will just be looking to build on our good performances in the competition so far.
“There was a real buzz at the club after the last round, the team spirit is excellent and everyone is really looking forward to Sunday.
“We will be doing all we can to put on a good display and give ourselves the best chance on the day. Our team is made up predominantly of young local players who really appreciate the support we had in the previous round.
“We know Middleton are bringing a few with them so the more local support we can get to cheer the boys on the better.
“Again there will be a barbecue and the bar will be open all day so come down.”
The last 16 match gets under way from 1pm.
