THAME Town’s horror season continued as they were soundly beaten by local rivals Dinton.

Playing away, they were bowled out for a meagre 102 with their opponents managing to rattle off the score at the expense of a single wicket.

Dinton won the toss and asked Thame to bat first.

Bhatti (20), Lachlan (21) and Patel (26), made worthy attempts but no-one had an answer to Shakil Ahmed’s guile as he ended up with 6-27 after condemning Thame to 102 all out.

Two apiece for Nheem and Parv along with a some smart fielding saw Thame crumble, losing the last seven wickets for 20 runs.

Dinton took little time to overtake the total with opener King (20), and Mike Sutcliffe (79 not out) putting on 70 for the first wicket.

The game was won by the 19th over.

Thame Town must pick themselves up from three consecutive defeats to face Horspath at home next week to salvage their season.
