Following the draw for FA competitions on Wednesday, Thame United have been confirmed as playing in the FA Cup next season.
And United have been given a home draw in the extra preliminary round against Bedford FC from the Spartan South Midland League, with the game
taking place on 15th August (3pm kick off at AFC Wallingford).

If United win they will face another home game against either Wootton Blue Cross or Sporting Bengal United two weeks later.

In the FA Vase, a competition which brings back fond memories for United following their run to the semi-final ten years ago, United have received a bye in the first round qualifying, but will face a long trip to either Halstead Town or Harwich & Parkeston in the next round. A win will see United renew rivalries with a home tie against Dunstable Town.
Gary Leach will be looking to take the Youth team to the First Round proper of the FA Youth Cup this season, and go one step further than Steve Meredith's successful youth side from last season.

However, United have a tough looking away game in the preliminary round at Slough Town, before meeting the victors of Binfield or Basingstoke Town at home in the next round.

Meanwhile, pre-season training commenced last week with a good turn out at all levels. Training continues every Tuesday and Thursday evening at Lord Williams Upper School, 7-9pm.
