Sydenham racer Richard Mallinson has now started racing in his BMW E36 M3 machine in the CSL Cup series which runs on the Dunlop Best Of British package.
The series runs on Dunlop tyres which Richard has now found suits his car very well. Having raced his BMW'S in the Kumho British championship for many years Richard has now found the new series for the more powerful cars.
The series races on many of the major circuits around the country and has recently visited Pembrey in South Wales. The weekends racing normally consists of 1 qualifying session and then either 2 or 3 races. All of the series is shown on motors tv and some of the rounds are shown live as well.
At Pembrey Richard had a 4th place and a 5th place finish in 2 of the 3 races and unfortunately he did not finish his 3rd race. This weekend Richard travels to Castle Combe in Wiltshire for the next rounds of the series.
