Cricket star Jaydeep Bhatti was the guest of honour at a cricket coaching course at Thame Town Cricket Club recently.
The Thame Town all-rounder, the club's overseas player, passed on some tips about spin bowling to the 50 youngsters, aged between seven and 12.
The youngsters learned a comprehensive guide to all the important aspects to cricket over the five days.
They were taught about match technique, skill, discipline and the spirit of cricket in the morning sessions.
The children played matches in the afternoon, where the importance of match temperament was stressed.
The week came to a climax with a barbecue and some music by a steel band. Sponsors The Spread Eagle provided all the children with T-shirts.
The course was organised by Thame Town Cricket Club and MP Sports, the town's specialist cricket retailer.
The cricket coaching was taken by top coach Manoj Parmar and Ed Barnett.
Manoj would like to thank Lord Williams's School specialist sports college for their continued support.
Final word to Manoj; "The kids really loved the course."
