(MONDAY, JANUARY 29) Crendon Corinthians Under 16s continued to set the pace in the league with a 3-1 victory over Tring Tigers.
Crendon dominated the first half with Tring hardly able to get out of their own half, taking a 2-0 lead into the break.
In the second half, Crendon struggled with the conditions as they played uphill and into a stiff breeze.
With Tring causing problems with long balls carried by the wind, they were able to pull a goal back. The Crendon boys eventually came to terms with the conditions and added a well-worked third goal to run out comfortable winners.
Crendon's goals came from Ollie Riding (2) and man of the match Jonathan McIver.
Long Crendon Youth U14s's winning run continued with a 4-0 home win against Aylesbury Town.
Joss Robinson, Ryan Scott, Matt Smith and Alex Farley were on the scoresheet but good teamwork won the match.
In particular, man of the match Mathew Ricketts in goal was always in charge whenever Aylesbury threatened and with Farley, Robinson, Callum Ayoola and Adam Bemister in midfield, Crendon were really in control.
