A man was taken to hospital last night after a ‘chemical incident’ near QD in Aylesbury High Street.
Police were called shortly before 4pm after there were concerns for a man’s welfare.
A man in his 30s was taken to Stoke Mandeville Hospital by the ambulance service.
Both the ambulance service and a Thames Valley Police spokeswoman confirmed there were chemicals involved in the incident but would not go into further details.
Four police cars and two ambulances were seen near QD.
Herald reporter Damien Lucas, who was at the scene, tweeted that a man was being frisked by police wearing rubber gloves.
A member of staff at QD said it was nothing to do with the store and that they did not know what was going on.
