A custom-made picture frame and a mobile phone have been stolen from a car parked near Great Missenden.

The picture frame, coloured white with pink paper butterflies inside, was taken from a Vauxhall Zafira in New Road, Little Kingshill, at 7pm on Tuesday.

PC Roy Evans said: “Will you be getting this stolen gift for Christmas? Have you been offered the picture frame for sale?”

The phone stolen was a Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Police advised people to remove valuable items from vehicles, leave nothing on display and ensure vehicles are left secure when not in use.

Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
