TWO men needed hospital treatment following a fight in Aylesbury town centre on Tuesday night.

Police believe a large group of men were involved in the brawl, which happened at around 7pm close to Lloyd’s Bank, The Carphone Warehouse and The Harrow pub.

A 25-year old man suffered a cut above his left eye and to his shoulder while a 16-year-old boy suffered a cut to his left hand.

Det Con Vicky Hoskin, from Aylesbury CID, who is leading the investigation, said: “At this stage the investigation is at an early stage and we are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

“We believe that a large group of men were involved in this incident.

“It took place in the town centre and I am sure there would have been other people in the area at the time who will have information that can help us progress our investigation.”
